Just another reason to avoid snaps. For me... why is LXD a snap??? If you're using LXD then the machine is likely an important hypervisor host and why wouldn't you want LXD fully integrated into the host's filesystem. Isolating the program that isolates others? No sane person would install proxmox as a snap. Why would LXD be different?
