Hi, Thanks for reporting this bug and helping making Ubuntu better. From your logs, I see
mysqld: Can't read dir of '/etc/mysql/conf.d/' (OS errno 2 - No such file or directory) Have you explicitly removed that directory? Also, do you have mysql- common installed? Since this seems to be a configuration issue or unsupported use case (configuration directory removed?), I am marking this bug as incomplete for now. Please, provide the requested information and move this bug status back to new once the information is provided. ** Changed in: mysql-8.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2063186 Title: package mysql-server-8.0 8.0.36-0ubuntu0.22.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: le sous-processus paquet mysql-server-8.0 script post-installation installé a renvoyé un état de sortie d'erreur 1.mysql et mysql-server ne démarrent pas.
