I've just discovered this bug report and reading it with interest. :-) I have a Linuterm, which is also based on the ThinCan DBE61. I'm trying to let it run LTSP on a Ubuntu "Gutsy" basis.
Bartman, I've just downloaded and installed your packages. The Xorg server is able to start without crash or hang, in 800x600x8. I've attached my xorg.conf, Xorg.0.log and xwininfo. Let me know if you need any other information. I'll try to use this from know and see how far it's usable.
