You didn't mention which version you are running. I guess it's b1 from
hardy (as a8 from gutsy has no such thing).

In beta 2, when you "Add Exception..", in the new UI, all controls are
grayed out, except "Location:" and "Cancel". Once you start typing the
URL, "Get Certificate" becomes active. If you click on "Get
Certificate", the certificate is fetched and analyzed, it's still not
usable. You can "View..." it and either reject it (using "Cancel") or
add an exception to make it usable (using "Confirm Security Exception",
which happens to also close the UI, like a more traditional "Ok").

So in beta 2, this bug is invalid, at least it is for me.
