Public bug reported: Hello, I have attempted to install Lubuntu 22.04 and kubuntu 22.04 on an HP DL320v2 Gen8 with a Smart Array P222 which stops copying files at 38% every time.
I tried different SSD's to no avail. Upon restart I am told that there was a controller error on the last startup. 20.04 installs just fine. I used both the 5.13 and 5.15 kernel options and they both exhibit the same result. The reason for the reinstall is that the do-release-upgrade finished but would not reboot. A message box during the fail states that links cannot be made, as well as the machine ID not found. Any thoughts would be appreciated. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: failure install -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1974033 Title: Failed install on HP DL320v8 with P222 Array Controller To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1974033/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
