I experienced this problem as well, but I'm assuming this is not a problem with Ubuntu, since Ubuntu does not develop, maintain, or even distribute the plugin that's malfunctioning, as far as I know.
I'm guessing it will be fixed in a later version of the flash plugin. Until then, reverting to an older version solved my problem. If you're not sure how to do that (I wasn't), check out this forum thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=476924 Click the link that says "Click here for the script that installs the old r48 plugin" and follow the included instructions. I removed my nspluginwrapper and flashplugin-nonfree before running that script, but that might not have been necessary. Hope that helps. Good luck!
