x86_64 - ERRORS (below)

xrandr -o [1,2,3] correctly rotates the screen, however the mouse
buttons don't function, and no keyboard input in the xterm.  ctrl-alt-
bkspc works and kills the x server, however logging back in produces
erratic behavior (the mouse buttons won't work sometimes, the top menu
bar won't display sometimes, etc.)  Also, switching to tty [1-6] while
the screen is rotated, then switching back to gdm will render the screen
black although the mouse pointer is visible and can be moved.
