Public bug reported: The current version (named as “1.1-2build1”) is outdated. Its code seems to be based on the original version from 1997 (maybe with some minor non-functional changes). This even be seen in the grab.c source file where the tool itself is still named “cpick” instead of grabc.
The original author published important functional changes in a new version around 2018. To avoid confusion: the version numbering of the original author calls the newest version “1.0.2”, but that is the author’s versioning, not that of the Ubuntu package. Also the here referenced homepage (http://muquit.com/muquit/software/grabc/grabc.html) is outdated, as it mentions the author’s Github project for the latest version: https://github.com/muquit/grabc Please update this package, no matter what the version is called afterwards. The newest version, functional and such, is to be found on https://github.com/muquit/grabc and works.
