Public bug reported:

A fix up to 39-usbmuxd.rules (initially in 21.10 but not 20.04) prevents the
apple touchbar from working.

The new rule takes over the iBridge chip which prevents the github
roadrunner2 macbook12-spi-driver apple touchbar module from working (or
any other variants).

This is the only module that activates the touchbar which means eg
macbook pro models without this module have no escape key.

I discovered this updating from 20.04 to 22.04 (because I generally
update only with LTS updates) but no googling came up with this issue
(so one of the reasons Im logging this bug is to try and get it to be
googlable).

This is a known issue that was logged as a bug over 2 years ago on the
libimobiledevice/usbmuxed github repo but nothing has happened since
then.

Not clear why ubuntu considered usbmuxd (which apparently is something
to do with talking to other apple devices from an apple device??) to
take precedence over the touchbar.
