Attach the syslog. The frozen session started booting from 13:34:54. I used alt+ctrl+del to reboot and the last thing I saw on the screen was those systemd-udevd logs at 13:35:54.
I was also able to reproduce the issue by only upgrading gdm3 from 42.0-1ubuntu1 to 42.0-1ubuntu4. Before the experiment, I used apt-mark hold gdm3 to block the upgrade. ** Attachment added: "syslog for gdm3 hang w/ NV 510 driver" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1969294/+attachment/5581172/+files/syslog_err -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1969294 Title: Ubuntu 22.04 gdm3 freezes with Nvidia GPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1969294/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
