Public bug reported: Since upgrade to kernel 5.15 I have problems with irq/204-rmi4_sm which fires extreme CPU spike (10-20% shown in top) if the touchpad of my Lenovo Thinkpad Extreme is touched in any way. The touchpad is disabled in BIOS as well as in X configuration. Unfortunately I can not easily step back to prior kernel for testing since the upgrade was done in a release migration towards 22.04.
