apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected impish

** Description changed:

Using 2x Dell 24" in portrait (1x rotated left and 1x rotated right (and
1x on HDMI-o and 1x on DVI-0)), the resolution settings is not really
applied system-wide when asked to do so under Monitor Preferences.

With this physical configuration, and using 20.4.1-latest, if you press
"Apply system-wide", it will ask to confirm via password, etc but before
after reboot, TTY7 display will have refused to have applied 90 degrees
  and will be showing wrongly.

- Previously I used to edit /.config/monitors.xml and remove the bad
- configurations but this file seems to have dissapeared with focal.
