We received several years bug reports of users who would like to move away from
the aubgerine/pink screen at login.
This year, especially with the new philosophy to let the user decide on the
accent colors, we thought that a neutral black would fit better.
Also we had this issue https://github.com/ubuntu/yaru/issues/2925 which we made
after we had the impression the canonical design team wanted to move away from
aubergine for the desktop.
Maybe the desktop team and the design team could have some sort of discussion
on this topic? We can ofc revert this change if this is the consensus
