Public bug reported: Kernel Version 5.13.0 introduced a new bug. This bug was eventually fixed on Kernel Version 5.15.20. This Bug causes Mellanox Networking Adapters to a lot of errors, when connected over fibre. The standard laser wavelength of this transceivers is 850nm, with this error it increases to 22560nm and invalid information on "Vendor SN" etc.
Initial change on Kernel 5.13.0 -> https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id=e19b0a3474ab9ef90dd110af9f39fc87329755f1 Final fix on this Problem -> https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id=60c48abf62ca57428f66ed25b982593b57c656c3 Applying this fix to Kernel 5.13.0 solves the problem. We wrote an article on this matter with further details (in German) -> https://www.thomas- krenn.com/de/wiki/Mellanox_ConnectX-4/5/6_Bitfehler_ab_Linux_Kernel_5.13 Would it be possible to backport that fix?
