Only a few 5.11 kernels have AUFS config enabled and focal:linux- hwe-5.11 is not one of them, so the fix cannot be verified with this kernel. However, this fix has been cherry-picked by focal:linux- oracle-5.11 and focal:linux-riscv-5.11 by versions which were already promoted to -updates:
