Ok, I've removed the duplication mark from this now and will continue to post my comments here, until someone responsible decides differently.
I tried to see something in the dmesg after a suspend attempt checking /var/log/kern.log The only new line I could see compared to before the suspend attempt said: "[ 389.117730] PM: suspend entry (deep)" wich doesn't sound very suspicious to me, but expected? Another line I spotted in the dmesg running on 5.13.0-27 on the other hand did: "[ 1.238821] BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 000000000000000c" Booting with 5.13.0-22 or the current 5.16.3 mainline kernel doesn't have this. Is there anything else you'd want me to try to capture from my system? I'm using the tuxinvader mainline kernel ppa (ppa:tuxinvader/lts-mainline) on my focal installation in the meantime. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1956422 Title: Linux Kernel 5.13.0-23 Suspend Modus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1956422/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
