Public bug reported:

Hello!
as I also ask here
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1389809/fresh-install-of-ubuntu-21-10-with-zfs-boot-drive-encryption-hangs-on-reboot

i'm trying to install ubuntu 21.10 on a new workstation on its own SSD,
(a Ryzen 9 - 16 core cpu, x570 Asus mother board, etc), and i'm seeing a
very frustrating problem that only happens when I install ZFS with
encryption enabled via the default installer. Frustratingly, theres no
such problem with just doing a zfs install without encryption.

after i do the install via the live cd gui tool, i'm able to reboot and
login into it the first time, with the whole "decrypt drive" step
(albeit zfs flavored) then user login. But after that first time, the
next reboot hangs after the disk decryption step where it says
"cryptsetup: keystore-rpool setup successfully"

any wisdom on how to debug this or avoidthis problem while still having
a reliable file system that supports encryption? :)

also it seems like this is a very real bug, but i cant figure out how to report
this to the issue tracker
