If this bug report were to be pursued it would have to be allocated to a
specific Ubuntu package. Raising bug reports against the Ubuntu project
but without a package generally sees them ignored.

I would have thought this issue would be seen as a hardware issue which
would mean allocating, initially at least, to the Linux kernel, i.e. the
"linux" package and letting the Kernel team have a look but if your
computer won't boot or constantly freezes then it's a difficult one for
anyone to help fix remotely by asking you to make changes, upload system
logs or download alternative builds of the kernel.
