I downgraded to Xubuntu 7.06 so I can`t test it with native installation
but I just tested it again with Live CD and see that I cannot change the
resolution. It is always 1024*768. When I change it, it says me
something like `The resolution changed, do you want to keep this
setting` but actually it does not changed.

When I enter `Settings/Screen and Graphics` I can see my monitor is
recognized truely as Samsung SyncMaster 793s. I don`t know what could be
the problem.
