Public bug reported:
An external USB hard drive is mounted and unmounted with apparently no reasons.
This seems to occur every few hours, without any pre-alert and, of course,
making all the reading and writing operation occurring on it fail.
This problem is not related to the used filesystem (tried with FAT32, NTFS,
EXT2/3).
This problem seems not be related to the USB slot. The same Hard Drive has been
tried on another computer with a Windows OS and the problem never occurred. The
hard drive used is a Lacie 500GB with external power. The OS used is Ubuntu
Gutsy.
