There are also some other issues with 21.10 and the laptop hardware 1) Closing lid does not often put the laptop into proper sleep state (led strip stays on), but screen goes blank and does not resume when lid is opened. A reboot is needed to recover from this. 2) When downloading large files from the network (using wlan and also wired link) it blocks other network connectivity. For example, no new web pages can be loaded with internet browsers.
