You can only have one Adept or APT (apt-get or aptitude) process running
at a time. This is to preserve the system's integrity while packages are
being installed or removed. In some cases, trying to open two instances
of Adept will cause APT to crash and lock down. In that case, please
enter these two commands to unlock the APT database:
sudo fuser -vki /var/lib/dpkg/lock
and
sudo dpkg --configure -a
I am marking this bug as Invalid since this is the intended behavior.
