I'm in agreement on if it works in windows it should work in Linux philosophy.
I'm getting this on my Dell 1520 at boot up. I dunno how i'd try swapping kernels, so I'm going to try the hardy heron update with maybe 2.6.24 cuz I'm trying to ditch Vista ASAP.
