My MacBook is running macOS Big Sur version 11.6 (20G165). I am
receiving the following error when I try to open KiCAD:
“kicad” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.
Safari downloaded this file today at 6:01 PM.
KiCAD folder is in Applications
System Configuration:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)
Processor: 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Memory: 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X
Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB
** Affects: kicad (Ubuntu)
