I guess you had already a Diodon instance running and only one instance of Diodon can run at the same time and therefore no output in the debug log.
So when you have enough items in your clipboard do the following: 1. killall diodon 2. G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all diodon > diodon_debug.txt 3. Now execute Clear 4. Copy a few items to see whether the error occurs and then attach the debug file here.
