** Changed in: gnome-disk-utility (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid
** Description changed: - Have HDD WDC WD181KRYZ-01AGBB0. - I set up "Enter Standby After 5 seconds". But drive doesn't go into standby after 5 seconds. Same with disabled APM setting and with APM Level 1 and 127. - If I manually click "Standby Now", then HDD goes into standby and remains in this state more then 10 hours. It means HDD is unused. - I used this HDD with ubuntu 20.04 before and standby timeout worked there. - - ProblemType: Bug - DistroRelease: Ubuntu 21.04 - Package: gnome-disk-utility 40.1-0ubuntu1 - ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.11.0-22.23-generic 5.11.21 - Uname: Linux 5.11.0-22-generic x86_64 - NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia_modeset nvidia - ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu65.1 - Architecture: amd64 - CasperMD5CheckResult: pass - CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME - Date: Tue Jul 20 09:11:21 2021 - InstallationDate: Installed on 2021-06-30 (19 days ago) - InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 21.04 "Hirsute Hippo" - Release amd64 (20210420) - SourcePackage: gnome-disk-utility - UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) + -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1936896 Title: gnome-disk-utility doesn't put HDD into standby mode after timeout since ubuntu 21.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-disk-utility/+bug/1936896/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
