This bug is still unfixed for wired connections... If one opens and saves the file "status/22/nm-device-wired-secure.svg" with inkscape as a regular SVG file, this cures the problem also for wired connections. I attach the file here for reference.
Please also note the very same procedure needs to be done also for the "Radiant-MATE" set.
