These ACPI errors are the results of missing BIOS's ACPI (EC) device "IEC" - the real EC devices are I_EC and H_EC. Therefore, accessing _SB.PCI0.LPCB.IEC.ECRD fails and causes a chain of failures.
The real impact is failing to access "_SB.PCI0.LPCB.I_EC.SEN2._TMP" (which access IEC.ECRD). _TMP is for reading temperatures. This means one of the temperature sensor may not be read correctly. However, it is just one of many sensors, and it can be one dummy sensor too. If you don't observe any odd behaviours, there is nothing to worry about. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1932336 Title: Numerous ACPI BIOS Error (bug) errors during boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1932336/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
