I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you but thank you for reporting your installation problem.
The following errors can be found in UbiquitySyslog.txt which was automatically attached to this bug report: Mar 7 19:08:08 lubuntu kernel: [ 54.977935] SQUASHFS error: zlib decompression failed, data probably corrupt Mar 7 19:08:08 lubuntu kernel: [ 54.977938] SQUASHFS error: squashfs_read_data failed to read block 0x3b98c6de It's possible you had a bad write to your media. When having such problems you should try the option to check the integrity of the image from the installer boot menu, and if this confirms that the media is corrupt, you should try re-writing and/or re-downloading it. However, since raising this bug report Lubuntu 18.04 has become 'End of life' - see https://lubuntu.me/downloads/ for the current Lubuntu downloadable ISO images. ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1866497 Title: Lubuntu-Installation crashed bei der Erhebung der Login-Daten und der Benutzerinformationen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1866497/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
