Public bug reported: In Ubuntu 7.10 64-bit the Gnome screen saver logs out when "lock screen" is checked.
Ctrl-Alt-L (lock screen) also logs out rather than locking the screen. In both cases all applications are closed and I get a login prompt. > uname -a Linux earl 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 21:45:15 GMT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux I am using an ATI Radeon X1300 Pro dual-head video card, fglrx drivers, and am using the dual-head mode created by: aticonfig --initial=dual-head --dtop=horizontal I have attached a copy of xorg.conf if you need it. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: In Ubuntu 7.10 64-bit the Gnome screen saver logs out when "lock screen" is checked.
