Thanks a lot for coming back to me. I couldn't run apport-collect as we don't have python-launchpadlib installed. I did check (apt install python3-launchpadlib) and in my case it would install quite a lot of dependent packages - we would like to avoid that due to the nature of our server.
But I did collect a bug report with "ubuntu-bug linux-image-generic" and attached to this case.
