I'm also running x86/i386 of ubuntu gutsy 7.10. running 1.8ghz amd athlon xp with 512mb ddr on asus a7n8x mobo
powernow is not functioning for me as it states in my previous post. i don't remember where I found it, but I commented out a few lines of script that leads to the error message. Now it just reports * CPU frequency scaling not supported If this refers to something in the bios, my mobo bios/pheonixbios doesn't support it. i fiddled with changing os/2, but no change. Still error, but ignoring. It doesn't hurt anything, but it's just annoying. -- Error in powernowd startup script, "Directory nonexistent" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/85946 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
