Binary package hint: celestia-gnome
After performing an upgrade with the "update-manager" yesterday, the package
celestia-gnome was also to be upgraded to a newer version. Unfortunately the
upgrade process of this package cancelled with the error message "E:
/var/cache/apt/archives/celestia-gnome_1.4.1+cvs20070626-3ubuntu1_i386.deb:
Versuche, »/usr/share/celestia/data/asteroids.ssc« zu überschreiben, welches
auch in Paket celestia-common ist". Since I'm natively speaking german I'd
translate this message with "Trying to overwrite
»/usr/share/celestia/data/asteroids.ssc«, which is already contained in the
package celestia-common".
So i completely uninstalled celestia-common and the still older version of
celestia-gnome and tried to reinstall them afterwards. celestia-common
installed just fine, but the installation of celestia-gnome failed with exactly
the same error message as above. Meanwhile I've also tried the installation via
terminal (providing "apt-get -f install" and "dpkg --configure -a" before the
actual installation via "apt-get install celestia-gnome"). But this also didn't
work - I still get the same error message.
I've always done the latest upgrades and dist-upgrades in Hardy and
since now everything worked fine so far.
