The problem persists with Kernel 5.8.0-50, but I found out that it only occurs if the usage of the Nvidia GPU is set to "on-demand".
In pure Intel or Nvidia mode the system boots as expected. The mode van be set via graphical Nvidia tool or via "prime-select {nvidia|intel|on-demand|query}".
