tayhe, I think it is unwise to dup evey X-crash bug onto this particular one. This is a very generic problem, an X server crash will kill GDM.
At least one of the bugs you dup'd onto this should be the root bug for the "cursors" crash. I've not seen any cases of similar backtraces appear for the non-intel driver, and those bugs were specifically assigned to the intel driver package.
