** Description changed: Problem: Ubuntu Install ISO recognizes internal monitor of a notebook (whether it is connected to the motherboard or not) when it is at the stage asking user to try or install Ubuntu with a GUI. Since, Ubuntu Install ISO is programmed to use 'extend monitors' function automatically after booting up, the user is not able to see 'Try or Install' GUI as that GUI would be on the internal monitor. Since, during that GUI, no right-click or keyboard shortcuts are activated, User is not able to switch to 'mirror monitors'. When the internal monitor is not working, Ubuntu Install ISO would not be functioning. ('Try or Install' GUI would be on the non-working internal monitor, and user would only see a background on the external monitor, without being able to use any keyboard shortcuts, or mouse-right click option, because Ubuntu Install ISO, at that point, would only accept, mouse hovering on and clicking on 'Try' or 'Install' and nothing else.) Reproduction: - Use a notebook. - Disable monitor via BIOS, or take out the monitor connection to the motherboard or use a notebook with a broken monitor. + Use a notebook with an external monitor. + Disable internal monitor via BIOS, or take out the internal monitor connection to the motherboard or use a notebook with a broken monitor. Solution: Use 'mirror monitors' at Ubuntu Install ISO. After 'Try or Install' GUI section and ubuntu-desktop is booted completely, users can choose to switch to 'extend monitors' if they wish.
