@Alex Hung, you are missing the point. The vast, I repeat vast, majority of computer users are accustomed to Alt-Tab and if you do not care to join the de-facto standard then you are painting yourself into an (elitist) corner.
And it is worth pointing out here as well that to, again, the vast majority there is no valid distinction between a window and an application, simply because all applications run in the foreground and if some application, for example BOINC, runs in the background then that is explicitly made clear. Therefore, if a window is closed then the assumption by the vast majority of users is that this closes the application as well. Also, saying that the GUI can be customized is myopic. The growing standard is that applications have different skins to suit the user's taste. The same thinking is evident in the different flavors of Ubuntu. The ideal IMO would be a Windows skin, an Apple skin and an Android skin. Lastly, cavalier attitudes like yours are part of the reason that Linux has such a steep learning curve. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1915486 Title: Alt-Tab not functional anymore To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1915486/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
