Binary package hint: gnome-cups-manager
I installed a HP printer using jetdirect with the gnome cups manager.
I kept on getting the following error message when printing
"(/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip) stopped with status 3!". After
installing several packages I installed the hplip package which resolved
this issue. It would be nice if these packages would be installed or a
pop-up window asking you to install this package when you select hp
jetdirect in the gnome cups manager. This is more a wish that a serious
bug.
