Public bug reported: The log as output by dmesg does not contain the date-time of last boot. This seems a serious oversight. Surely, the kernel is able to query the clock? Knowing the exact date-time could be crucial in cases of repeated reboots.
Anyway, a date-time stamp would seem a reasonable requirement from an auditing perspective.
