** Changed in: linux-raspi (Ubuntu Focal) Status: New => Won't Fix ** Changed in: linux-raspi (Ubuntu Groovy) Status: New => Won't Fix ** Description changed: We currently use the dwc_otg driver from raspberrypi on 5.4 and 5.8 armhf and arm64 kernels. That driver supports FIQ interrupt handling (presumable for better performance) but lacks the maintenance and bug fixing of the vanilla upstream dwc driver. Turns out that FIQ handling is disabled in the dwc_otg driver on arm64 so it makes little sense to use that driver on arm64. + + In fact, upstream raspberrypi recommends to use the dwc2 driver on + arm64. ** Summary changed: - Switch to the upstream dwc driver on arm64 + Use the upstream dwc2 driver on arm64 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1900665 Title: Use the upstream dwc2 driver on arm64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-raspi/+bug/1900665/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
