Since this is a system I use for day to day stuff I can't really put on Hardy without disrupting the pre-existing OS's. Sadly my motherboard was made before booting off of USB devices was a common feature. I can wait 8 days for Alpha 2 to hit the streets and try that out.
Alternatively I have no problem with dropping the Hardy kernel into my Gutsy install and just booting off that for some tests. I've done similar things with my Debian box and far worse at work. It shouldn't really matter what kernel is running under the hood, however if you think this isn't a worthwhile test I'll just hold out for the Alpha 2 Live CD. -- ATA exception on resume from sleep https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159421 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
