"Can you describe how the 5.8 kernel was installed in this machine?"

I've attached a history log for the earliest time that I can see 5.8
showing up. I'm not sure if it came from an apt update or Synaptic. I've
also checked Synaptic history which shows 01/09/21 Installed the
following packages: linux-image-unsigned-5.8.0-36-generic
(5.8.0-36.40~20.04.1). I believe that I tried to remove it when it was
first causing the keyboard issue.
