The way I see your outputs, is that you only get the error when
performing: lshw ?
If it is the case, could you also run 'lshw' with super privileges for
each class and report which one is coredumping ? That might help isolate
the situation to a given class, and narrow down the situation.

Classes can be found using 'lshw -short'
