@Christian, Per the 11.2.5 ReleaseNotes.md at https://github.com/vmware/open-vm- tools/blob/stable-11.2.5/ReleaseNotes.md, previously reported issues #467 and #468 have been fixed in this release.
As with the 11.2.0 OVT release, this release provides suggested vmtoolsd pam configuration files for major Linux vendors. By default, the generic pam configuration settings will be used by "make install". To select a Linux vendor specific pam configuration, the following line on "./services/vmtoolsd/Makefile" $(INSTALL) $(top_srcdir)/pam/generic $(DESTDIR)/$(PAM_PREFIX)/pam.d/vmtoolsd should be edited - replacing "generic" with "debian". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1911831 Title: open-vm-tools 11.2.5 has been released To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-vm-tools/+bug/1911831/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
