Same issue here on a Thinkoad P70, as a workaround I keep switching airplane mode on & off until the Wifi adapter gets detected again. Using bluetooth on this laptop is a bit erratic too (have to switch on & off multiple times). I've got the impression that it might be caused by some USB issue as my fingerprint reader is not always detected too.
