Calf is already aware of Ardour's policy in that one should not use Calf on Ardour. (See https://github.com/calf-studio-gear/calf/issues/181) Since that's where the upstream projects lie, I wouldn't worry about it.
That said, there's unfortunately nothing anybody that sees this bug report can do since Ardour 6 (latest version) doesn't even allow the use of Calf plugins. Calf is very low quality and crash prone, and I suggest switching to lsp-plugins for what you're trying to do. Since this isn't a bug within Ubuntu's control and support is outside the scope of a bug tracker, this bug remains invalid. If anything, the bug would get changed to "won't fix" since both projects are aware of the issue but have no interest in changing the situation. ** Bug watch added: github.com/calf-studio-gear/calf/issues #181 https://github.com/calf-studio-gear/calf/issues/181 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1909022 Title: Ardour crashes when using the Calf Limiter LV2 plugin and tying to raise the Oversampling parameter to 4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calf/+bug/1909022/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
