With this one 5.8.0-35-generic #37~lp1907212+3, nvidia gpu isn't powered down: $ cat /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:01:00.1/power/runtime_status active $ cat /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:01:00.1/power/control auto At ~242 there are also snd_hda_intel errors on attached dmesg, which are later reprinted every ~120 seconds.
