Public bug reported: for previous releases of ubuntu, the alpha releases were known called by whatever word describes a large group of that animal - a herd of fawns, a tribe of gibbons.
a large group of herons is sometimes called a seige, yet the HardyReleaseSchedule on Ubuntu's wiki simply calls them alpha releases. previous release schedule pages had called them by their names. As well, the HardyHeron/Alpha1 page calls it Tribe 1 in the opener. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardyReleaseSchedule https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardyHeron/Alpha1 googling for animal collective nouns has also produced a "sedge", a "hedge", and a "scattering" as possible candidates. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- hardy release schedule wiki page https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/175773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
