Hi Thomas, I'd been searching online earlier and noticed that other bug reports with this same issue have Windows installed as well. Not sure if the two are related or not. Some did mention something about the Windows bootloader possibly causing problems. I'm curious if you can try doing a few boots from a LiveCD to try and reproduce the issue. Also, I'm curious if anything interesting shows up in /var/log/kern.log.0 after your boot fails. Thanks.
