Public bug reported:
While running ubiquity installer from the Edgy Knot 3 Live CD, after
reaching the disk partitioning stage a message box appears saying "The
resize operation is impossible". When I click next, partman then appears
to go into an infinite loop asking parted-server for a list of all
available partitions, repeatedly, until I kill the partman process, at
which point ubiquity proceeds to the manual partition editor. The
/var/log/partman file grows very rapidly while it's doing this.
